| Great opportunity to join one of Scotlands leading SEM (paid search engine marketing), digital media buying and planning agencies in Edinburgh as a Search Executive, responsible for managing online advertising creative and optimising SEM bids to maximise client ROI. The Search Executive supports the SEM team across a range of tasks – research, competitive analysis and the implementation and management of paid search strategies.
As Search Executive (SEM), the role will involve close monitoring of campaign delivery, performance and optimisation, combined with a gradual education of both the technology that drives this market and the wider goals of media. You will also be required to attend client meetings, devise paid SEM strategy and work with the team to deliver reports for clients on campaign performance.
We would expect you to have knowledge and expertise of all major search engine platforms and ad serving systems, as well as being able to interpret media data and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement throughout a campaign. You will also be required to build competitive landscape reports in addition to general market research.
You'll be enthusiastic about your work and thrive in a fast paced working environment. A background in paid search engine marketing (SEM) is essential, although ongoing training will be provided on the job, in workshops and through internal and external training sessions.
