| Great chance to join one of Scotlands leading online media buying and planning agencies in Edinburgh as an Account Manager in the digital team, responsible for delivering online advertising campaigns for an impressive client list as well as supporting the Account Director in managing workload and media implementation of the Account Executives and Digital Planners.
The successful candidate will have in depth UK market knowledge of national and regional online media strategies (and specifically how they integrate within the wider media mix), strong relationships with media owners, knowledge and expertise of all media opportunities within the discipline and experience in supervising media buying and the rates agreed.
As well as experience of account handling and the skill set necessary to assist in the development of strategy for UK wide and international campaigns, we would expect the Account Manager be able to work with the Account Director to monitor client charge rates and the level of service provided across digital media planning and online advertising campaigns . It is a challenging position and requires an exceptionally strong candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of clients and media channels across the UK and Ireland.
You must possess excellent leadership, analytic and interpretive skills; pay close attention to detail and have the ability to think creatively and strategically with regards to digital media planning / digital media buying and online digital media campaign management. The candidate must illustrate their ability to work under pressure and to develop accurate, informed online media planning solutions quickly and effectively. Working with the Account Director and other digital and strategic teams within the agency, the candidate will also be required to establish an open working relationship with external agencies and media owners.
The candidate must be proactive, provide innovative digital media solutions and represent the client's objectives to the agency team. Key areas of responsibility will include coordination of training and mentoring of the account executives and media planners within the team, supervising media buying, general account administration, liaison with finance department and coordination of presentations.
