Position: SEO Specialist
Location: Midlands – Burntwood (nr Lichfield), Staffordshire
Salary: £35k OTE (£20,000 - £30,000 basic + bonus)
The Role
One of the company's primary SEM channels is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). For this role we are looking for someone with a proven track record and extensive experience in SEO and link-building. This is a fantastic opportunity with excellent career progression for the right individual.
The right candidate will benefit from a generous basic salary plus a profit-share bonus. Through the profit share scheme the person in this role will get a share of all the profits they generate. Earning potential is huge! Role has fantastic career progression prospects.
The Person
• At least 2 years commercial experience
• Proven track record in SEO and link-building – must be able to demonstrate with reference to at least 5 successful SEO and link-building campaigns
• Must be up-to-date with all the latest SEO developments and methods
• Experience in both building SEO sites from scratch and doing SEO on existing sites
• Strong analytical skills. Ability to spot search engine vulnerabilities and capitalise on them
• Knowledge of white-hat and black-hat methodology
• Link-building – ability to get quality/authority links and mass-volume links
• Experience doing manual SEO and doing SEO using automated tools (eg. Link-building tools, content generator tools, etc.)
• Experience using keyword tools and keyword analysis
• Knowledge of online PR for SEO purposes
• Degree (preferable; not essential)
• Good attention to detail / meticulous
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent organisational / time management skills
• Target driven / experience working to targets
• Must take pride in their work
• Good communication skills – email, telephone, in person
• Reliable, trustworthy, professional manner
