Position: Web Developer (PHP/mySQL)

Location: Midlands – Burntwood/cannock, Staffordshire

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 + Bonus (£25,000 OTE)

 

Exceptional Web Developer required for exciting Internet company. Must have a proven track record and must have at least 1 year experience in a similar environment. The role requires a talented developer with the ability to build bespoke solutions and build/update websites. The right candidate will benefit from a generous package that comprises of an excellent basic salary plus a share of company profits.

The Role The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for developing and implementing internet applications and websites. The candidate must have the ability to solve problems through innovative solutions and the ability to think outside of the box. Working along side the Senior Web Developer this candidate will be responsible for working on team projects and their own ongoing projects. The candidate will need to display technical ability, a professional attitude and build on/improve the development teams existing skill base.

 

The Person

• 1 year experience in similar environment (Essential)

• Intermediate – Advanced: PHP/MySQL knowledge • Intermediate: HTML, Javascript, XML, CSS

• Basic Apache Server administration

• Exceptional Technical ability

• Ability to problem solve and think 'outside of the box'

• Ability to test own applications and solutions

• Good time management skills

• Self-starter / ability to work autonomously on their own initiative

• Meticulous approach / takes pride in their work

• The candidate must have ambition and drive to learn new skills in order to develop the role.

• Flexible to learn new skills and multi-skill in any area of the business.

• A love of all things 'Internet'
