Location: Merstham, Surrey (near Redhill)
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will aid in the online marketing of our websites. This will include optimising our websites for search engines, building links to our websites from other websites and article writing. Training will be given to develop the necessary SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) skills. As much as experience is not needed, a keen interest in the field of SEO or online marketing is essential.
The successful candidate will not be chosen based on their skill set or work history, but for the enthusiasm they show towards developing the skills needed to make SEO their chosen career path.
Duties:
· Become involved with developing links to our websites from other websites, together with SEO functions, such as Blog writing, article writing, submitting our sites to directories and obtaining other links through social media for example
· Perform other online marketing activities for our sites to increase traffic and revenue
· Aid in general website administration
Skills:
· Must have knowledge of SEO or online marketing (even if it is just a basic understanding)
· Must be computer literate and have knowledge and experience of the Internet
· Must have a good telephone manner
· Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Must have the ability to solve problems, work in a team and work to deadlines
