As Marketing Manager for the United Kingdom you will have full P&L responsibility for the UK market. You will effectively lead the UK acquisition team to continuously grow the UK market in both revenue and customers, through a variety of online and offline acquisition marketing channels. You will manage the UK acquisition marketing team and coordinate and optimize marketing campaigns (Paid Search, Affiliate, E-mail,
Online, Print, etc.).
The successful candidate will have experience working in conjunction with external and internal resources to coordinate online and offline acquisition performance and delivering to a targeted goal.Online marketing experience required, as well as media buying in the online marketing channels. Direct response marketing background strongly preferred.
Job responsibilities:
- Takes ownership of the overall UK market, and drives the team in the channel development
- Develop & execute efforts as directed to maximize sales
- Overall coordination of marketing campaigns
- Negotiate and purchase primarily online media, but also offline media
- Establish, maintain and grow relationships with large portals, online ad networks, etc.
- Where necessary change tactics and approaches to ensure results by applying best practices
- Utilize inside and outside resources (tools) to effectively manage spend and efficiency
- Ensure that rapid testing and learning are executed within the UK market on a channel level to achieve incremental growth and critical breakthroughsConstant vigilance in program evaluation to evaluate program performance and provide recommendations for enhancements or discontinuation
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Requirements:
You will need a Bachelor's degree in business or marketing (MBA a plus) and 3-5 years of channel specific marketing or sales experience (affiliate marketing, paid search, email marketing, direct mail). Previous P&L experience and established industry relationships are strongly preferred. Candidates must possess an in-depth
knowledge of the UK online market, along with a proven track record in setting and achieving quantifiable direct marketing performance objectives. Native English language skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
