The Role
As the company moves into the next successful stage in its development it is now essential that an outstanding sales-focused VP Commercial is hired. This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic E-commerce professional to play a pivotal role in this fast paced, well funded entrepreneurial business that is revolutionising the flight search market. The objective of this role is to ensure that our client achieves its revenue and market share goals and achieves sustainable high quality earnings through the planning, development and execution of an effective sales strategy, in addition to ensuring that sales targets are achieved across all target markets.
Candidate Profile
- A proven Sales/Commercial Director/VP with experience track record of success building and managing a team selling on-line advertising (CPC, CPA and CPM) through direct and affiliate channels.
- Credibility borne out of proven personal sales success and track record of achievement.
- An excellent understanding of the online media business and e-commerce, including knowledge of search engines, portals, affiliate marketing and internet advertising.
- A successful track record of people management, with particular emphasis on hiring, building, managing, developing and motivating direct and affiliate sales teams and the delivery of targeted revenue.
- Strategic capabilities, evidence of ability to define and execute successful sales strategies that build competitive advantage and achieve business objectives. Experienced implementer of sales strategies and processes.
- Structured, rigorous approach to sales and sales management. Analytical skills to implement and adhere to effective reporting and forecasting processes and systems.
- Experience at some stage in career of working and succeeding in small, fast paced, high growth entrepreneurial business.
