Due to both an increased demand for and emphasis on SEO business, the organic search function here has grown and now requires an SEO oracle to head up the department.
This is a split role and will suit someone with the finely-balanced skill base between technical expertise and commercial awareness/focus. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable talking about top level SEO strategy with a team of developers and pitching the commercial value of SEO as part of the marketing mix. The Head of SEO will take charge of a small ready-made team, but also charged with recruiting their own team as things build up.
The scope with the role is for the Head of SEO to aid the continued growth of this function - converting existing business from the design and build side of the business and identifying and converting entirely new prospects for the agency. The right person will have a significant impact on the business and will put themselves in a position of influence within the structure of the agency.
