Farnell, based Leeds, West Yorkshire - are looking for an SEO Executive to work as part of our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will employ search engine optimisation techniques, both on and off site to enhance and advance Farnell's visibility and exposure within the major search engines
Skills, Knowledge & Know How
Extensive experience of on & off site optimization, linking strategies, PR and social networking tools
Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent
Experience of working across multiple country SEO campaigns a distinct advantage
Knowledge of latest SEO methodologies
Proven track record for working on highly successful SEO campaigns
Highly organised, numerate and multitasking abilities used to working to deadlines
Excellent communicator at all levels
Solid understanding of HTML, web analytics, web design,
Dreamweaver / Fireworks experience an advantage
Passion for search marketing and internet generally
Keen commercial acumen and attitude
Accountabilities
Assess and understand website architecture and current SEO keyphrase performance
Undertake online sector and competitor analysis
Assess and introduce inbound link building strategies
Provide guidance and best practice to maximize SEO performance and penetration
Evolve SEO strategies and campaigns to continually optimize online performance
Key knowledge point for SEO, constantly updating on new methodologies/trends
Organise keyword rich multilingual content to support Farnell brand, category and commodity strategy
Create, build and test dedicated landing pages to enhance SERP's positioning
Use web analytics and reporting data to continually refine and optimise campaigns
Reporting and monitoring of SERPs positioning to support SEO strategy
Support briefings to internal IT function regarding SEO requirements
Support other eCommerce team members on ad hoc projects
