| I currently have an opportunity for a Pay Per Click Specialist within a leading company who have been established for over 80 years. They have over 250 Retail stores across the UK and 7 websites and a phenomenal brand. They have a £15 million pound turnover from ecommerce alone and are set to have a highly successful 2010. They set up their online marketing division 2 years ago and have grown from just 2 members of staff up to 20; with an extremely low staff turnover over that time. The department is fully integrated and act as a mini-agency in house. Following a fantastic few years and managing to come of the recession even more robust than before; they are now looking to expand their PPC division.
In the PPC Department they currently have 1 PPC Executive who the new employee shall sit above. They are looking for someone to come in and really make their mark on the position and push the PPC department forward. The company is looking to create a more structured PPC division and with so much investment being put into the Online Marketing side of the business; this is a very exciting time to join the company. As the PPC Specialist/Manager you will be required to provide strategy for the company PPC Campaigns and also implement them too. You must enjoy getting your hands dirty with PPC and have a real passion for the Search Marketing industry. There will be lots of progression available in the role as this is just the start of the development of the PPC offering. The company has further growth plans for 2010 which will see the Online division expanding rapidly. The PPC Budget across all 7 websites will be around £1.2million and there will be further investment down the line. The position will allow the right person to really take ownership of their role and push forward their career in PPC with full support from an excellent management team. The Online Division you will be joining are all enthusiastic, highly talented and highly dedicated to the company and you must share the same values.
Your responsibilities will include the following;
Planning and Implementing PPC Campaigns across a variety of search engines
Monitor, Analyse and report on the PPC Campaigns on a regular basis
Keeping yourself and team abreast of the latest techniques and developments in the Search Marketing industry in order to further improve PPC performance
Manage and support the Junior member of the team
To be considered for the role you must have the following;
18 months hands on PPC experience
Worked with significant budgets
Ideally be Google Adwords Qualified
Be highly analytical
Excellent communication skills
Feel comfortable reporting to board level
A passion for Search Marketing and the drive to push your career forward in the industry
Target Driven
Excellent time management skills
Great people management skills (management experience is not essential; however the want to do so is).
Experience of reporting and analysing PPC campaigns
Great decision making skills and an analytical mind.
