Our client is one of the world's most respected full service digital agencies, with over 20 offices worldwide and an enviable roster of clients, which includes iconic brands such as Sony, Unilever, Audi, Nestle and Prada.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to develop his or her Digital PR career. Working with the Head of Digital PR, you would be generating concepts to address client's PR challenges through Digital PR channels. You will be familiar with "social networks" and experienced in developing and implementing digital B2C and B2B communication strategies for clients across a range of.
The main elements of the role would be:
• Project management – planning, managing and implementing digital PR/social media campaigns
• Client liaison and account management – managing multiple digital PR client accounts; building client relationships; developing clients PR strategy;
• Online publisher relations – writing press releases/blogger alerts and articles for online publications; identifying new contacts and developing relationships
• Search PR activities – working with search to ensure PR activities are in with their strategies and service is complementing other link building activity in the search team.
• Team management – managing account executives, training and mentoring
• Pitch work – involved in pitch work as part of Digital PR team or wider company team
Skills:
• A strong track record in selling in stories, planning and executing creative and successful PR campaigns with several years PR experience preferably within an agency background
• Able to explain complicated concepts both in writing and in person
• A thorough understanding of the digital environment and the opportunities for PR professionals presented by the Internet.
• International experience would be very advantageous
• An understanding of the principles of SEO and a passion for social media
• A keen eye for news stories and opportunities
• An entrepreneurial, proactive approach to their work
• An excellent team worker with a willingness to go the extra mile
