An opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Brighton, East Sussex, specialising in organic, paid and social search engine marketing.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading paid search campaigns from initial analysis and strategy phases, through implementation and ongoing PPC management.A specialist in paid search (PPC) you will be responsible for managing paid digital marketing campaigns across a wide range of different sectors including travel, publishing, financial services and retail to deliver fantastic client results.
Key Responsibilities
· Leading a small team of PPC specialists to deliver PPC campaigns for clients on time and budget
· Managing paid search campaigns from creative strategy to tactical optimisation
· Prioritising conflicting workloads within a dynamic agency environment
· Improving quality of paid search campaigns by developing internal processes, systems and training programmes
· Communicating new insights and opportunities to clients on a regular basis and anticipating queries effectively
· Keeping accurate timesheets
· Coaching and mentoring peers and junior team members on paid search
· Analysing data from multiple sources including Google Adwords, Analytics and using Excel spreadsheets to produce actionable recommendations for optimisation
· Presenting results, creative strategies and campaign plans to clients using Powerpoint both face to face and over the phone
· Delivering campaign results to agreed targets and ROI
· Maintaining and sharing up-to-date knowledge of expert PPC techniques, strategies, industry benchmarks and tools
· Supporting sales and marketing with new business pitches as required
Candidate Requirements
· 3+ years experience of pay per click campaign management.
· Results oriented with a track record in evolving paid search strategies to continually improve campaign performance.
· Proven experience in creating and optimising landing pages to improve conversions.
· Knowledge of technical pay per click solutions for dynamic websites including job boards and e-commerce sites including automated bid management.
· Inquisitive mind with the ability to extract insights from raw data including Adwords, Analytics & Hitwise and implement strategic pay per click recommendations.
· Confidence with the ability to articulate strategic marketing solutions and achievements to senior management level clients.
· Customer focused with first class interpersonal, presentation, organisational and communication skills capable of explaining pay per click issues to non-technical audiences.
· Excellent written and spoken English; proficient in business communications including presentations.
· Highly organised; able to manage own time efficiently and work with Advanced Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
· Agency experience highly desirable.
· Experience in Facebook paid search, multi-variate testing, affiliate marketing, display advertising, SEO or social media a distinct advantage. |
