WE’RE looking for an SEO Executive to take charge of driving search traffcc to content and commercial areas of metro.co.uk. You’ll implement and contribute to the company’s SEO strategy and build ranking within Google for a range of key verticals.
You’ll work closely with the commercial, content, development, search and community teams to optimise legacy content, ensure continued growth of the site and help drive revenue. You’ll develop and foster partnerships with other key sites and meet agreed search referral trafc targets. You’ll also produce, edit and upload content, providing expert guidance to ensure SEO considerations are prioritised. You must have experience of SEO, content managements systems and working in a digital content environment.
You’ll be a good communicator with a proactive and positive attitude, confident at dealing with people of all levels. You’ll be a flexible team player and have the ability to learn new skills quickly. You’ll also have a proven track record of self-managing and working across multiple projects.Targeting city based Internet users, metro.co.uk is a predominantly urbanbrand.
